Have had my eye on photography for many years, always interested in people who are photographers, what they do and how they do it. From a very young age, I was fascinated by cameras and still am now. About 10 years ago, during a long spell in Madagascar, I got into underwater photography. Then, naturally, I moved on to documenting my travels there. So my first love was travel photography.
As time passed I realised I didn’t know an awful lot about the art or the technique so I started to teach myself. This is the magic moment for any art form, where it can make or break your passion. It solidified mine permanently.
I have shot weddings and portraiture quite a lot over the past 4 years and after moving to Devon, UK, I discovered a massive love for landscapes. But, after hitting a dead-end with self-tuition, I decided to take this course with the IOP. Best decision ever. No matter what your level of skill, it will help you be a better photographer and I’m so grateful for that.
I’ll be behind the lens for life.
