Privacy policy

We value your privacy and want you to be clear about the data we collect and store, how we use this and the rights you have to control that information.

We have updated our Privacy Policy to reflect the changes introduced by the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into force on 25 May 2018. The changes in the law will provide you with greater transparency and control over your personal data.

Our updated Privacy Policy came into effect on 1 May 2018 and sets out how we will collect and use your personal information, and what your individual data protection and privacy rights will be under the new regulation.

To ensure our continued compliance with data protection and privacy laws, we may update the Privacy Policy from time to time; therefore, we encourage you to review it periodically to stay up to date. We will always let you know if we make any material changes to the way we process and store your personal data.

At the Institute of Photography, we are committed to safeguarding and preserving our visitors’ privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you while you visit our site.

We do update this Policy from time to time, so please review it regularly.

We retain learner account records, enrolment history, course access logs, IP access records, correspondence, and transaction information for up to 10 years after your last login, or longer where reasonably necessary to administer ongoing course access, maintain educational records, prevent fraud, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
