My journey back into photography started on and off about 2 years ago now. I used to love taking photos when I was younger, even had my own darkroom, then after several doctor check ups, I found out I was colour-blind.
Due to this I was told I could never make it in photography and it was best I stop wasting my time. So being only 14 at the time, you take it on board and do as you are told.
It was the arrival of our first child that changed everything. Off I went and bought a new camera to capture him growing up, and found I still I had a talent for composition and taking a good photo, so i enrolled with the IOP and have never looked back!
Amazing course and tuition, and the desire to be better is all you need. Don’t make my mistake and listen to others, go out and push for what YOU want.
