I am an enthusiast photographer living in Cumbria, on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
My inspiration for making photographs comes from the landscape and my passion for photography is combined with a love of hiking.
I am at my happiest when I am out amongst nature, with a camera in my hands.
I enrolled with the Institute of Photography and onto the Professional Diploma in Photography, principally to give myself something to apply myself to when I decided to leave my job in the NHS in 2021.
I found it challenging to complete some of the assignments, particularly those that weren’t landscape based. But, I enjoy a challenge. So much so that I have now enrolled onto the Diploma in Street Photography!
