I have been passionate about photography since I was about 8 years old when I was given my first camera.
In those days you had to send your film off to be developed and wait with great anticipation for the prints to arrive in the post!
Inevitably I had a go at developing my own black and white prints in a makeshift darkroom in my parents’ loft.
Many cameras later, here I am with a photography qualification which I plan to use to help launch a second career.
What started out as a passion for recording family life and holidays has evolved into something more creative.
I now specialise in photographing children and pets, but try and inject a bit of fantasy and magic into my work.
The IOP Professional Diploma in Photography course has been invaluable in taking me down this unexpected route!
