About Michael:
Michael is a Manchester based freelance photographer of close to 5 years.
He graduated with Honours from the University College Falmouth in 2010 in Fine Art.
He’s gone on to gain recognition from The Royal Photographic Society and regularly exhibits work around the UK.
Michael is an expert tutor, having spent 2 years as an Artist Educator and he is a street photography fan who regularly pounds the streets of Manchester in search of real life to photograph.

Course aims:
This course aims to take intermediate or advanced photographers and help them to develop a body of work in the street photography genre. You do not need to be an experienced street photographer, but you must be familiar with your camera settings.
Course Includes:
- Pre-course including essential reading and course assignment
- 10am-5pm with your tutor at the agreed location/s
- Printed IOP® certificate of completion given to each student at the end of the day
- Dedicated area on the IOP® forum for discussion and feedback
- The best photos from the day will be shared on the IOP® website and social media for recognition

You Will Need:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Pen
- Small notebook
- Waterproof clothes (if raining)
- Sunscreen (if hot)
- One camera and no more than two lenses (widest angle to around 100mm etc). Ideally your camera should have manual setting options. Most cameras (even compacts) have that functionality. Large camera bags should be left at home.
- Memory card
- Charged battery/ spare batteries
- Money for drinks and lunch
