What did you enjoy most about the course?
The email interaction with the course director, Tim McCann. It’s the ideas behind photography as much as the techniques that I was seeking.
What do you think we could improve about the course?
Naturally, much of an online course is concerned with technique, lighting, composition, etc, but it would have been thought-provoking to have to write a short essay on one or two well-known photographers, past and/or present.
How has the final assignment feedback improved your photography or if you feel it has not helped you, tell us why!
By urging me to think of the river in its social and historical-usage context, whereas I had been thinking solely about the more psychological aspects to myself and others throughout history.
Any other feedback?
The whole course seems well put together. I never got into the Facebook group until the last couple of weeks, mainly because I hate Facebook! I left it a couple of years ago, and never missed it. But I thought it might be worthwhile joining again, purely for the IoP course. It was fun, but I’ll be leaving it again afore long. Perhaps a group discussion forum on the course website might be better?

I really liked this course, especially the last units. I really wanted to find teachers in the art of photography and to resonate with my images. Here we found this, you are professionals. Glad to meet you

The course I think are all the care steps you must go through to get a great photo.

Excellent, I really liked the photography teachers here, you reasoned and understood the meaning of my images, and for me this is a maximum certification

The excellent feedback. Good tips, fair rates. Besides that good theorie and examples and the diversity of content.
What do you think we could improve about the course?
Maybe better communication about changes in the course during completing the course. At some chapters somewhat more accurate and new information.

It helped a lot. Not only the final assignment but the feedback on all the assignments was very constructive and good.

What did you enjoy most about the course?
I enjoyed most the challenging practical assignments and the IOP Facebook Group.
What do you think we could improve about the course?
I would like to see a bigger resolution of some key images belonging to course material. This would help to have a better understanding of some topics through the analysis of those pictures.
How has the final assignment feedback improved your photography or if you feel it has not helped you, tell us why!
The feedbacks on the final assignment are full of detailed considerations that only professionals are able to highlight. That’s why this course has been a great opportunity for me to improve dramatically my photography.
Any other feedback?
The Tutors allowed me to see things from a different perspective, which is fundamental to achieve better results in photography. The Facebook group is a very smart idea of IOP to introduce a complementary tool to improve the photography of all of us, it a very pleasant place where to spend time sharing pictures, ideas and advises.
