IOP® have two flagship online photography courses;
Let’s take a look at the difference between these two courses so you can choose the right online photography course for you.
Have a look at the comparison chart to see the exact differences between these courses.
The Professional Diploma in Photography
£45 per month (interest-free/ 10 months) or £450
As an overview, we would recommend the Professional Diploma in Photography for everyone if budget allows.
It is our most comprehensive course and offers personal Tutor support; more than any other course online. Your Tutor will always be just an email away if you are struggling and they will work with you to plan assignments as well as really digging into your photography to take a constructive view on where you need to improve.
There are 11 marked Practice Assignments and 5 marked Formal Assignments with very in-depth feedback. No online course offers more feedback and Tutor support.
As well as the extensive assignment feedback, there is a very in-depth video section on flash photography and some units on developing your professional career should you wish.
This course is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more experienced photographers and offers a route to a professional career in photography.
The IOP® Certificate in Photography
£20 per month (interest-free/ 10 months) or £200
However, if you would prefer to work alone as self-study, then The IOP® Certificate in Photography might be a better choice.
There are 4 Practice Assignments with feedback and 1 marked Formal Assignment, so there is still lots of opportunity to have your photography analysed by a professional.
There is no personal tutor support so if this is important to you, please consider the Professional Diploma in Photography instead.
This course is suitable for complete beginners and improvers who are looking to improve for personal achievement and enjoyment of their hobby.
