I started my photography journey quite late in life but since starting it I have completed and passed the Diploma in Photography with the Institute of Photography and have now gone on to start the Professional Diploma in Photography and the Diploma in Photography Business.
As I was doing the Diploma it quickly became apparent that I enjoyed doing landscape photography above all others, most likely as a result of my liking for being outside.
My biggest achievement since passing the diploma course was selling my first photograph, although my ultimate aim is to take high-quality landscape photographs for everyone to enjoy.
Aside from my family my most enjoyable times are spent training my English Springer Spaniels Holly, Storm and Fen
The two most important rules that I always try to follow in my landscape photography are:
- A nice view doesn’t make a great photograph!
- Quality vs quantity – success comes from focusing on a few compositions and doing them well!
